enjoying the beauty of the Himalayas. In Kathmandu Valley, we will visit the holy Hindu temples of Pashupatinath, the largest Buddhist Nepali dome
stupa of Bhoudhanath, and enroute to Nagarkot, a visit to the classic and medieval city of Bhaktapur. The tour also includes a 2 nights 3 days visit
to the famous Chitwan National Park for wildlife safari, highlight of which is the elephant back safari. The variety of wildlife that call Chitwan
National Park a home are the One Horned Rhino, the elusive Bengal Tiger, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Wild Boar, Monitor Lizard, four species of deer, two
species of crocodiles and over 450 species of exotic birds.
GRADE A (Easy):
Easy touring and day hikes - elephant safari, canoe ride and nature walk.
8 nights hotel and 3 nights Jungle Lodge. Touring with short day walks
at low altitude that are suitable for people of all ages. No special physical
preparation is required as this trip can be enjoyed by anyone who leads
a fairly active life.
Altitude Sickness (Acute Mountain Sickness)
Mystical Nepal is a cultural tour of Nepal with no trekking and does not involve any risk of altitude sickness. All sightseeing tours are conducted using private vehicles and the services of a city guide. Safari tours in Chitwan National Park may involve short walks in the jungle that may last a couple of hours each. Just bring a comfortable pair of walking shoes and lots of respect for the Nepali culture
