Annapurna Circuit - Teahouse Trekking in Nepal
17 days in Nepal
Annapurna Circuit Trekking is one of the great walks in Nepal as it passes through a variety of Himalayan environments. The trek begins in the lush Marsyangdi Valley, home to the Hindu farming families of Brahmin, Chhetri and Gurung tribes, and enters the dry, arid Tibet like region of Manang inhabited by Buddhist Manangis of Tibetan origin. It also reveals some of the most beautiful mountains like Annapurna II (7,937m), Gangapurna (7,485m) and Tilicho Peak (7,134m). This trip provides the experience of both the scenic and ethnic diversity of Nepal with the added excitement of crossing the Thorung La Pass (5,416m). Then to visit the holy shrine at the Temple of Muktinath and the Buddhist nunery before descending to the Kali Gandaki river valley
